Burkwood Treatment Center is a licensed residential chemical dependency treatment facility located just across the river from Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area in Hudson, Wisconsin. Our caring team of licensed professionals specializes in treating men and women with a dual diagnosis of addiction and co-occurring mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety and others.

Many of our clients have previously undergone treatment that resulted in relapse, and are coming to Burkwood to build new skills and reinforce existing skills that will help them achieve lasting recovery. Others are reaching out for dual diagnosis treatment for the first time. Based on each client’s individual history and unique needs, the addiction and co-occurring experts at Burkwood create a personalized treatment plan that will include chemical dependency education and treatment, intensive counseling and support groups, individual goal planning, vocational and education counseling, and aftercare and discharge planning. Located at the end of a quiet street near a wood-lined stream and Willow River State Park, Burkwood is an ideal environment for addressing substance abuse and co-occurring issues.
